Tribe Switch: On Day 26, the winners of the Pre-Merge Challenge decided the formation of new tribes with a Schoolyard Pick, Ceci would form the new Sol tribe and Karen the new Luna tribe.The winning women were Ceci Ponce and Karen González, while the losers were Tania Rincón and Geraldine Bazán, causing the disappearance of the Estrella tribe. Joint Trial for Misconduct: In the Cycle 9, the Luna tribe had won the immunity, but thanks to the misconduct and breaking rules between Ceci Ponce and Carlos Pulido by verbally and physically assaulting themselves in the Immunity Challenge, the immunity was removed and a joint trial was held between the two tribes to decide an eliminated.Thus leaving the tribes of 6 members each. Member Transferred: Since it was unfair for the Luna to lose a member after the Joint Trial, as they were the winners of the immunity. The Sol tribe in a vote should decide on one member who would be transferred to the other tribe. The vote resulted in a tie between Tania Rincón and Juan Carlos Somoza. Simplified Deathly Duel: When 6 contestants remain, the winners of the Immunity and Final Challenge decide one member each who will go to the Deathly Duel, the loser of that challenge is eliminated.Per the rules, the Luna tribe would decide who passes to their tribe, selecting Juan Carlos. ^ 1 The vote was vetoed by the judges, reason why a new vote would be taken and the contestant that was to be voted out will be saved.
^ 2 The Luna tribe was the first to finish the challenge, however this one was disqualified, for not following the rules. ^ 3 Thanks to the misconduct and breaking rules between Ceci and Carlos, the immunity was removed and the Final Challenge was not made.
